Participation Opportunities with the CCG

Are you interested in how health services operate in Wandsworth? Would you like the chance to inform how health services are planned, developed and delivered?

Wandsworth Carers’ Centre works closely with the Clinical Commissioning Group in Wandsworth to ensure that the views of Carers are heard. We have a number of opportunities for you to inform health services, including:

Clinical Reference Groups (CRGs)
There are 11 CRG’s in Wandsworth, made up of mixed groups of professionals from community, primary and social care, hospitals, voluntary organisations and Wandsworth Council, as well as patient and Carer representatives.
The aim of these groups is to decide how care should be organised for patients so people have the best experience and treatment.

CRGs include:
• Cancer
• Falls and bone health
• End of life Care
• Substance Misuse
• Cardiovascular disease
• Mental Health
• Diabetes

Patience Experience Review Group
The Patience Experience Review group is an informal group made up of patients and Carers and the purpose of the group is to discuss the redesign of local Community services in Wandsworth. The group provides an opportunity for patients and Carers to input into the design of care plans, goal setting and care pathways.
It is also an opportunity for patients and carers to meet with some of the staff from St George’s who are the current Provider of community services in Wandsworth to provide feedback to them and also gain some further insight in to the work being done by the Provider.

Thinking Partners Group
This group has a focus on Equality and Diversity within the CCG and is made up of voluntary and community groups such as the Older People’s Forum, the LGBT Forum, HealthWatch and local Diabetes Groups.

The aim of Thinking Partners is to hold the CCG to account, ensuring that services are consulting with, listening too and reaching a wide demographic across the borough.

If you would be interested in getting involved with any of these groups, or would like more information, please contact Philippa on 020 8675 0811 or email
