The Sunflower Café and The Jasmine Café are monthly gatherings where people with dementia, their families and friends can meet for afternoon tea in the company of others in a similar situation. Our aim is to provide a welcoming environment for people to share experiences and enjoy spending time together.
The Sunflower Café is held on the 1st Saturday of every month from 2pm tp 3pm at Mount Court, Weimar Street, SW15 1SJ. Please note there is a small entry charge of £2.
Parking: paid parking is available on the street outside The Platt Centre. Public transport: Putney Train Station (Southwest trains) is around 10 minutes’ walk away. The 14, 39, 74, 85, 93, 424 and 430 buses all stop approximately 5 minutes’ walk away.”
The Jasmine Café is held on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 1.30pm to 4pm at Leonard Cheshire Randall Close Resource Centre, 2 Randall Close, SW11 3TG
Parking: Paid parking is available on the street in front of the Randall Close Resource Centre. Public Transport: Buses 49, 319 and 345 stop on battersea Breidge Road, a 5-10 minute walk away.
A minibus service is available for those who cannot make their own way there. (spaces are limited and allocated by need, then on a first come, first served basis)
Please note there is a small charge (£2) per person for the Cafe.
